  • John Hayes resigns as Minister for Transport The Rt Hon John Hayes has left his post as Minister for Transport during Prime Minister Theresa May’s Cabinet Reshuffle. Mr Hayes has been a member of parliament for 20 years and has been a Government minister since 2010. He was Minister of State at the Department for Transport from 15 July 2016 to 9 January 2018.  Mr Hayes is replaced at Transport by Jo Johnson.
